Dear Patwin Families and Friends: 

For the past four years we have had a very successful “Unfundraiser” donation drive during which our very generous school community has raised about $10,000 each year. Not only has this money contributed to many necessities for Patwin (such as computers, library books, assemblies, and scholarships), but it has also made possible many enrichments (such as BRAVO, science enrichments, and extra money for teachers to use in their classrooms).

This year we would like to continue to raise money through an “Unfundraiser” where kids don’t have to sell anything, parents don’t have to buy anything, and 100% of your donation goes directly to classroom and school needs. In the past, spending $50 on Innisbrook products would raise only $25 for Patwin. Why not have all our money go to support our children’s education?  

Where will this year’s money go?

This year’s goal is to raise $15,000 for Patwin. This money will continue to fund the necessities mentioned above, but in addition, this year’s fundraising will be used to provide new microscopes for the science labs; benches for the new shaded snack area in the old bike area by the playground; technology carts for the 4^th and 5^th grade classes to share; outdoor education scholarships; and supplement the Counselor and Bridges programs.

The Patwin community includes approximately 300 families. If each family gives an average of $50 (just $5 a month for the 2009-10 school year), we will meet our goal. We invite you to give whatever you can—no amount is too small. If you’re able to make a larger donation, please consider doing so, since not every family will be able to contribute. Just complete the attached form and send it with your donation by October 28^th — that’s it!
