3. Research-In-Progress

Up one level

This folder contains folders of working and draft documents produced by current Davis history research projects. Such documents are posted here for the purpose of soliciting early and critical feedback of drafts from anyone interested in whatever the research topic. Hosting in-process research projects on this site is one way the DHRG seeks to implement its purpose "to assist other relevant researchers" (quoted from the statement of DHRG purposes in folder 0.1).

The Downtown Davis Face-Block Project
Four draft "element" statements of the Downtown Davis Face-Block Project: 1. Introduction, 2. Overview, 3. The G Street 200s, 4. The Second Street 600s. The project author, John Lofland, seeks to construct photo-histories of 1950s-2000s physical and other changes in the 62 "face-blocks" making up Downtown Davis.
The Forty Years of Davisville: 1868-1907
A time-line style chronicle of each of the 40 years Davis was named Davisville.
